Jechtinger Eichert

Between Burkheim and Sasbach lies the village of Jechtingen with the volcanic elevation of the Eichert. This single vineyard faces south and is not terraced; the vineyards run along the slope. The Pinot Noir grown there displays the restraint in aroma characteristic of volcanic wines, presenting itself as complex and mineral on the palate.
